A plan for a public touring event of the The Library was brought to the City of Mississauga's creative services team, where an idea for a discovery guide was established to help draw visitors to the various locations. Intended to act as a passport for library patrons to keep track of each location visited during the event, a square shaped brochure was designed featuring a series of custom illustrations.
Using a french-fold, the brochure opens up to reveal the 18 Mississauga libraries. Visiting the locations and taking reference photographs to capture various angles for creating the illustrations, I used simple black line art to define and portray the unique characteristics for each of the libraries.
